Following the success of our Saigon-Sol dinner at BibiSol, we're back with the next chapter.
Lửa & Lei is a fundraising dinner bringing together Chef Jordan Taylor and Chef Tony Danh of Pho Quynh for a one-night-only tasting menu blending the bold aromatics of Vietnamese cooking with the bright, island-rooted flavors of Hawaii.
Jordan is the culinary mind alongside co-owner Barry Putzke behind Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen, En Place Catering, Pizza Cheeks, and Perch — some of the most beloved spots in Sioux Falls. Tony has spent a lifetime cooking from family recipes that have fed this city for decades. Together, they're building something you won't find anywhere else.
The Lửa & Lei Dinner Experience
This is more than dinner. It's a reminder of what we build when we bring the best of ourselves to the table, and what we can create when we work together.
Menu
Vàng (Gold) — Crispy mochiko chicken, shaved cabbage, kewpie, herbs, chili, citrus — Gold and crisp, with warmth, subtle sweetness, and fresh aromatics.
Sông (River) — Poached prawn, charred cabbage, pickled shallot, herbs, peanut, calamansi — Light, bright, and flowing. Herbs and citrus layered over delicate prawns.
Lửa (Fire) — Porchetta-style lechon, lemongrass, sticky rice, pickled vegetables in nuoc cham — Deeply roasted and aromatic, with richness cut by sharp, vibrant accents.
Lá Dứa (Pandan Leaf) — Pandan, coconut, palm sugar caramel, toasted coconut — Soft, fragrant, and cooling. An elegant coconut finish with caramel depth.
